"Not all participants adhered to the prescribed secure call procedures," stated German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius regarding the incident. The unnamed officer in question was participating in the Singapore Air Show and proceeded to make a WebEx call using either his cellphone or the hotel's Wi-Fi.
"For the Russian intelligence services, this is a breakthrough. Hacking occurred in widely-used hotels," remarked Pistorius.
